For centuries this Boyd Crest has been a symbol of your Scottish Family unity. This Boyd family crest emblem is from your Clan Chief's Boyd coat of arms. This Boyd family crest is first created by our master sculptor and then handmade in Cold Cast Bronze, using a unique process developed by us. Previous Chief: Alistair Boyd 7^th Baron Kilmarnock, died 19^th March 2009.

Gaelic Name: Buihje meaning “fair” or “yellow”

Origin of name: The earliest record of Boyd is in Irvine Ayrshire in 1205 as

vassals of the Norman family of de Morvilles.

Crest Badge A dexter hand erect with the last two fingers bowed

The ring is fantastic , as you said it is difficult to really know until you see the finished product. I notice I've got number 1, it is surprisingly heavy and the detail of the design came out really well, fits well and I'm very , very happy with it , I did have some misgivings that it would be quite large on my small hand but it looks great. I have seen nothing like it around the place, which I'm glad about as it is quite distinctive, and turned out brilliantly!!
